So we all know at some point or another we will want to try a DIY to spice up room, wether it be a bedroom, living room, kitchen, workspace. etc. So today on heart+arrow we have a simple pin board DIY you can do at home for an affordable price:
-white canvas
-chevron patterned fabric
-purple ribbon
-silver flathead tacks
-iron
-stapler
-crazy glue
1. I first ironed the fabric so the lines from it being folded would disappear.
2. I then placed the fabric pattern facing down on a table.
3. I then took my canvas and placed it on my fabric.
4. I then cut the fabric making sure I had extra on all sides.
5. I then took my fabric and stapled it to the back of my canvas on the wood section. I then stapled the extra fabric on the corners to the back of the canvas on the wood section.
6. I then started stapling my ribbon on a diagonal angle making sure ribbon was tight. I repeated for the other angle.
7. I then placed the tacks where the ribbons meet each other.
8. For the tacks not tacked into the wood section I flipped the canvas and crazy glued them so they would not pop out.
